Any help on how to remove the armrest to access the master switch on an 01 coupe? From what I can see (which is very little) it looks like the armrest clips into the door lining, but I wanted to make sure before I try prying it off. Thanks in advance.

 

You shouldn't need to remove the armrest to access the switch. It should be one screw, and then pull back and up. Here is a TSB with pictures and instructions on removal.

thanks for the link! on the coupe door though, the armrest actually covers a few inches of the switch plate.... i'm hoping i can simply pop the armrest off, but when i tried last night i was afraid i was going to end up breaking something. i really don't want to have to take the whole door trim off to access the master switch and looking at a few diagrams it appears that there might be some clips holding it in place. thanks again!
