I dont know what it is but I never heard it before its like a screetching noise and also sounds like a sensor noise. I heard it yesterday coming from a baseball game and my boy said it could be dirt in between the brake pad and the rotor. After I pump the brakes while im driving it stopped and i never heard it again until this morning driving to work I heard for a lil bit when i was reversing out the driveway. I doubt its that I need new brakes that will be impossible. Has anyone had this problem or could it be like a pebble or sumthin stuck on the brake pad or something in that nature.. Any info would help..

 

i get it all the the time..especially when i just washed my car....but it goes away....i think its one of those things where it just happens. but when it gets super bad....you know you need new brakes haha. but that noise is nothing.

When you get water on the rotors, they tend to develop rust pretty quick. The grinding noise you hear after washing you car is probably from light layer of rust on the rotors. It goes away because braking grinds it off. This really isn't a big deal.

 

Thanks for the input I am going to take it to the mechanic when i get out of work..
