Default Aftermarket accessories

hey i just got an 07 civic LX, nighthawk black with the HFP aero kit and 17" HFP wheels. my older bro has a very similar car, but without HFP parts. i was looking for some Aftermarket parts that could give me a decent gain in power so i would be able to outrun him anywhere, im also not looking to spend a fortune. thanks in advance

Not much you can do with the R18 to get "decent gains" in the NA department. Your going to have to go beyond I/H/E to get any "decent" gains.

only thing you will gain enough to "out run" him is a bottle or some boost.

if you were focused on out running anyone then you shouldn't have started with an LX.

but as stated above....boost will get you there.

why is your name "VTECRIDER"? you bought an lx, which has no vtec or speed..

best bet is to sell the car and buy a faster one or buy some boost

if you both have the same cars
i would excel in driving skills

you'll get more out of that then any ordinary bolt-on
you both have stick shift right?

not very educated on the R18 are you?

may not have speed, but it sure as hell has vtec... does honda make a motor that doesn't anymore?

j/k man.. actually the R18 has like 3 vtec solenoids on the back of the head... but it's got an EGR valve the size of my fist, definately not made for performance

easy there "inlineaddict" why cant you mellow out a little bit, i ment when you buy and lx and you have your name be vtecrider it just seems odd to me because like IT GUY said its definately not made for preformance. when i wrote it had no vtec i ment it didnt have the v-tec all the si guys are used to, when you say vtec you dont automatically think of an lx

You do now... and even the Fit and the Hybrid use VTEC.. VTEC does not equal performance.. quit picking on vtecrider.. It's great you have an Si.. So do I, but you shouldn't talk down to someone because they have the same car as you but at a lower trim level.. Buying an Si doesn't make you better, just means you're in debt a little more

I don't know that I automatically think of anything when VTEC is spoken/written
