Default Amp , Fits Under Seat!! NEW!..

Alpine MRP-250 4/3/2 Channel Amplifier

bought from best buy for 224 total,
but not asking for a price anywhere close to that.
Brand new!.. sitting in original box with everything that came with it!..
Including Line Level Input harness, mounting screws, end caps.

The only reason why I’m selling it is because I now have the MRP-450.

The MRP-250 is
Lightweight for its class, Low profile.
It can fit under a Honda passenger seat with the controls facing any side.

Some other features:

Bright blue LED when power is ON
(my MRP-450 lights up passenger floor!).

Adjustable High & Low Pass Crossovers 50Hz – 400Hz.

Bass Boost (+12dB at 50Hz, On/Off),

Signal to Noise Ratio is rated at 100dBA,

THD is 0.08% @ 4 ohm load

I don't know anything about amps, but would this power a 12" JL sub sufficiently?

i had a 400 watt of this amp bumped my 15 pretty nice. this hamp has great Rms(is that what it is?)power. usually amps have peak power on them but the rms power is what matters.

yes, but i would recommend 2 of them subs to take advantage of "bridged" mode.
type e is an efficient woofer.

in bridged mode, both front and rear channels on the amp would be bridged.
it would basically have 2 channels but with twice the power.

like most amps, bridged mode needs a 4 ohm load.
if its not in bridged mode, it can see a 2 ohm load or some can be stable below that.

other than that, the REAR preamp output (signal from your head unit / crossover)
would need to be split before connecting to the amp.
all of that is in the owners manual that comes with the amp.

hmm, tempting, I've been wanting some budget sounds. I'd scoop it up if I had the funds right now...best I can do for you now, is a free bump!
