drove car 10 mins w/o coolant resoivior

went to go wash my car after cleaning up the engine bay and forgot to put the resoivior back on? Car didn't overheat or else i would of pulled over. Could anything have gone wrong?

Not really, that just holds the extra coolant and is also the overflow tank. If it didn't overheat i wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah dont worry there. The rad is still doing its job. Absolute worst case scenario, you might have spit a bit of coolant out of the overflow hose....and thrown a johnson rod.

It is only for over flow. Coolant expands when it gets hot. So... if your car would have started to get hot it would have pushed coolant onto the ground. No big deal
