Default a/c removal

i just wanted to know how long does the belt have to be to bypass the a/c compressor, got a friend w/an h22 civic and he told me he was using the a/c belt off of his d16, on his h22, so i made the drive to the store for nothing the belt is too short, it needs like 2 1/2 inches more, but cutting to the chase, what is the real size belt?, by the way this should be on the prelude faq's.

used the search function and got it, for any other newbies, the belt it 37 inches and can be gotten off a 92 s model, since a/c is optional, by the way the search fucntion is not that easy. gotta re-post question several times.

You'll need a 6 rib belt. On the S & Si models, the crank pulley utilizes a 5 rib belt.
