Default tire selection

I am getting ready to replace the wheels and tires on my civic and i am not 100% sure what tires i want to run with. I live in seattle where rain is an issue so i want a performance dry/wet weather tire. i wont be doing any "race style" driving in the rain but i need something good so i wont hydroplane while on the freeway. I have looked at the kumho ecsta supra 712's and they look nice....also the BF Goodridge KDW TA. Let me know what you have and how they are, or what you have heard is good. give me your opinion im up for everything right now. i am trying to stay below 100 a tire. so let me know what ya think. A price is always nice too.
thanks.

those tires are an option now.... but i am trying to stay focused on high performance wet/dry rather than more towards all-season. i wont be driving my car in the harsh weather like snow and such...just rain and sun. great lookin tire tho and im gunna research those. thanks for helping

I recommend the Kumho SPT..
Very good dry traction and handling, excellent in rain, last a long time.
Theyre on the tirerack.com. I paid 63 dollars a tire.

I've always been partial to Bridgestone, I had the Potenza S-03 pole position before and those were the best tires I've ever used.

they are discontinued and only come in a couple of sizes. The next tire I'm gonna buy are probably going to be the Potenza RE050A Pole Position.

they are rated higher than the S-03 pole positions, so I know I won't be disappointed.
