Default launch control

My vehicle speed sensor went out, so my speedo stays on zero. I was wondering if that would effect the launch control?

What are you using to control your launch? ECU? MSD?

Need more information.

I have a chip with launch control that sets a rev limit at 0mph. If yours is like this then it will probably affect your launch control because it will always read your mph as 0mph.

You can setup the ecu to control the launch control to work off of a clutch switch, but if yor are using a speed threshold to trigger the launch control then, yes a broken vss will not allow the lauch control to work properly.
