I recently did an obd1 conversion on my dohc turbo zc so i can tune it with crome, after the convo. is all said and done, the car wont start, we find the problem being that the injectors are not opening.

I had the 2 blue wires that normally run the external cam angle sensor on the exhaust cam hooked up the to the corresponding wires in the new obd1 dizzy. So i un hooked them and put them to the original cam angle sensor, and the thing fires up and runs 100%, so we go about doing a little bit of tuning, set the timing and get a perty nice base-mape all made up, then we decide to go home and come back the next day....

The car wont start. So i mess around a bit and find out once again that the injectors arnt opening, so i decided that maby the wires for the cam angle sensor got soulderd wrong so i pull it all apart and put them the other way and it still wont start, so we go work on another car for a bit, and a while later buddie hops into the car and it fires right up??? i look and see that the cam angle sensor is unplugged?? and we get a cel for "crank angle sensor"

WTF?? im lost i cant get it to run properly now, the only way it will run is with the sensor unplugged and it runs like crap, with a cel, and super lean???


HELP PLEASE!!! I cant figure this out!
