okay so all u guys thats done motor swaps and ****. i'm really confused.. its a 97 hatch dx with a dx harness runing like ****.. i heard i either need a jumper hanress or a obd 2 computer..


the car has a 94 ls motor in it


somebody said the engine wires are for the engine and doesn't get plugged to the ecu.. smebody else said the engine harness and cabin are 2 different harness..how is that true though.. they said the cabin harness is for the ecu only... and the engine one is for the engine.. if so why does it plug into each other 2 get power or sumthing.. all confused..

i think all you need to do is get a obd2 to obd1 jumper and get the ecu for the ls. that what i did and voila it ran perfect!

Your post is kinda confusing... but anyways. Did you convert the motor to OBD 2? What ECU are you currently running?
