I finally got to bring out the civic with the turbo on it, but i must say i was a little dissapointed. I know it was hot as hell out so it wasn't only killing hp but also my automatic was hurting to. The boost is set at around 6psi but it was only pushing not even 4psi. I was hoping to see low 15's but my best was a 15.63 at 89. I raced in the brackets and placed 3rd again, but this guy who comes down there who runs 20 second passes at 50 mph hits that **** perfect and always wins the event. Even bracket should have a 18 second time limit. Oh well i'm not mad, just think it's kind of unfair since we work our *** off to make our cars faster to get into higher classes and he buys junk cars not even to truly race. I think battle of the imports will be better because they have different times for the brackets so dicks like this have to race against asses that do the same thing. But other than that, the day was nice and hot, the in-line pro record was broken by this bad *** supra. Decent bikini contest and the car show had some hot *** cars. But i'm happy the cars getting faster and once i get the tranny stronger to handle more boost and change gears stronger i'll pull much better times. If anybody else went and raced how'd you do.

 

I qualified 2nd in super stock then in eliminations I staged and my car backed up and redlighted against the # 15 qualifer. I'm still pissed

 

damn, that sucks. What car were you driving and what times. I have no choice but to stay in sportsman cause i'm to slow to run against the other guys with turbo's. Hopefully i'll be up there one day.

 

I was the Black ITR running 13.4's @ 101. Did they weigh your car? I was 1570 with me in it. I think they are gonna divide the classes next year by weight.

 

Last event was hotter.

Bracket racing doesn't have much to do with how fast your car is. It's more about consistency.

13.9s on my steelies Hopefully my slicks will be in for the next race so I can net some low 13s. As soon as Dave (SMSP) is done with my header I should be able to net even lower 13s. A few little things here and there with the suspension and drivetrain and im hoping to hit a high 12.

 

I didn't race yesterday, but I sure had fun judging the bikini contest! The turnout for MIR's import events was extremely lower than usual...did anyone else notice that? Our team had quite a few problems yesterday, but congrats to Karl for running a 10.77, his best E.T. so far.

Well, coming from a girls' point of view,I'll just say I was very fair w/ all the girls when it came to voting. #1 was cute but she had a WEAVE...Did you not like #6?
I thought that all the girls were pretty in their own ways, which made it a hard decision. Bikini contest judging is so stressful haha

 

i don't know, this time was pretty hot too. I think it was cooler in the morining this time but it got almost as hot. Plus i didn't have the turbo on last time, so it was just dead slow. Yea that black rx-7 was hot, he/she was there last time too. The bikini contest did suck but hey, asses are always nice to see, but i saw better girls in the crowd then on stage. #6 is just cute, but she don't got the nicest body of the group she just knew how to work the crowd. I know bracket racing isn't about speed but it still sucks when people work hard to get there car faster and are trying to do something with the car and this guy just sucks and can get the wins.

I personally liked #4, but she just wasn't showing any chest in that tube top. But maybe thats why I liked her. ..a little mystery. (and she could shake it nicely )

MPH - I remember you. I was the scraggly looking kid who came up to you about your "clean" and stock looking ITR. ..just got back from senior week and didn't have time to take a shower or shave, plus the heat was getting to me i probably looked/acted like a thief or something. I remembered you redlighting the tree too. It looked like you went perfect on the pitside's tree. Sorry about the luck.

hey, hybridreams, what car are you running. Cause if i'm not mistaken your were up at MIR and i'm trying to find more people to roll with that have more knowledge than me and can give better advice than what is on the web. I go to VERTEX motorsports and they've done most of the work for me and have always been satisified. Are you fairfax county police if so, i'm sure we've meet up before.

i knew you were gonna say that, alot of people hate on them for some reason, i've never figured out why. But i've dealt with them for awhile now, and they've always giving the best deals, but i feel my car isn't getting the fullest attention nor performance i could get somewhere else. What shops do you go to. And alot of people/shops look at me silly because i have a SOHC automatic that i want to race, but that's what i got.
