anything good happen at mir?
Yeah it is not near as big as nhra or nopi, but Jason Miller is trying to build on something that , gives more street based cars, car we can relate too a place for competition with very good payouts, guaranteed payouts, a points championship for all street classes, alot more than nhra or nopi offers. The series is in it's infancy, but give it a chance nhra has no street class for a fwd vehicle they have a so called street class but come on how we gonna compete with 1000 hp supras? Nopi does have street classes and contingency but less of a payout than imstar, and next year imstar is gonna add 2 more races to the shedule and try to bring in contingency support. There is a lot of potential with the series . no way jason.. maybe for you turbo guys... but super stock winner only gets 300 bucks. NOPI pays 400 PLUS its relatively easy to get another 1000 in contingency's
IMSTARR cant even compete with either NOPI or BOTI. I understand they are just starting out...but having a couple of their events conflict with those of the bigger series is just
I understand their calendar may be full... but setting themselves up like that is gonna make succeding tuff.

I agree on the the on the superstock , thought it after I typed was to lazy to edit, but as far as money I agree that once you start making your car run like fred highland you should get more money, but the higher up in classes you go the more the money gets, even though someones low 13 second type r might cost as much as my crx superstock is still looked at like a spring board type class a steping stone to bigger things just like my class is looked as a stepping stone to pro class.so thats why the payouts probally wont get better till contingency is introduced for extra money.Conflicts no doubt there is a couple nopi events I wanted to run but could not because of imstar, plus the outlaw class is not gonna get bigger with shedule conflicts, but Jason Miller is aware of these things and is trying to improve for next year. But like I said before he is trying and you have to admit for a local event it is organised , and I can say after racing alot of other organizations, imstar is pretty damn good for street class cars give it a chance, Jason
i hope you guys dont think im bashing jason.... thats not it all.. he's a super cool guy and i was excited to see the series start this year... go figure i'd start having all this bad luck. Also, I can understand turbo class getting more money than street stock. But 300vs1000 is unfair and ridiculous. Even 1 or 200 more bucks would be a lot less of a "slap in the face" Having built both setups, I can say I have spent just as much $ and effort building a 12sec n/a integra as I did an 11sec turbo integra, and its not fair. PERIOD. But hey, if they dont got the $, they dont got it. I enjoy SS just as much as pro4(hehe i'm old skool, call it what you want)plus my car is a pig compared to ya'll eg's and crx's
