Default delivery date of mugen Si

Has anyone in here placed an order for the 07 Mugen Si? Honda said this thing was gonna fly spring of 07 and it seams to have just dropped off radar. Dealerships don't even know whats going on with them as far as I know. So just wondering if anyone has taken delivery of one yet or if anyone has an arrival date... Lets not turn this into a "its not worth the money, might as well get HFP blahbadey blah" thread eah?

Well, nobody has it because the Mugen edition Civic is an 08 model, and 08 models aren't out yet.

More useless info just for laughs.....Some misinformed idiot at the track Saturday told me about the Mugen Si that is coming and I informed him I already knew. I said too bad it wont have any bump in power and he said it will, to the tune of 283 HP. I laughed at him as he proceeded to get into his EP3.

There was a guy awhile back who stated that he had put a deposit down on a Mugen SI, I do not know what became of him though.

And it will begin.

The Integra type R fanboys will have to compete with Mugen Si owners over "who's the most pompous concerning their Honda".

While the Mugen Si will be extremely rare.

Well think about it....
in the past 3-4 years.....

The civic has gotten 200hp, 6spd , LSD
a 4 door option, navigation

NOW offered with MUGEN parts....

the only logical next step is... the Hype R...

even the CR version of the s2k..fuels my assumptions

We have been the "test dummies" .... we've bought everything they throw at us and even the markups.

Unless they are absolutely retarded....

this is all my own .02

Everyone gather around the rocking chair as uncle Mike tells stories of granjer kids...

I would love to see the Euro Hype R in america badged as a CRX which wont happen Guess im one of the few that thinks the thing looks good.

I really like it too, I just think that offering a hatch, coupe, and sedan is a bit redundant for Honda's marketing. We're a very small niche that actually likes hatchbacks.

The mugen isn't really all that great compared to the type r. I really really wish they would have had a release date for the type r rather than the mugen si. It doesnt make any sense to me why they wouldn't have it here in the states. I think we all know how many people would rather have bought the type r then the coupes we have

But would you think either is god's chariot, extra special because it comes with a plate with a production number, and sneer at other cars? Or would you just enjoy the damned thing?

I find it funny that we get the Mugen Si and Japan gets the RR, makes the american Mugen Si look like a joke.
