Default gsr tranny w/lsd knocking?

Here is whats going on,
I built my motor and bought a gsr tranny with obx lsd shimmed from a buddy. we noticed a slight knock when turning right before we brought it to the tuner but figured that it was something simple to fix.

Well now my car is tuned and we couldnt street tune it because of the issue. Going straight and turning left it goes like a champ, when turning right with no acceleration its fine. As soon as you begin to accelerate through the turn there is a knocking sound.

We have replaced the axle so thats not the issue.

So now its either a bad lsd or bad wheel bearing? Any thoughts on this issue?
Thanks

if im not mistaken even a oem lsd, like a ctr or itr lsd, crak and sound like somethins gona break when u turn. Meaning im thinkin its something normal to expect when u have a lsd installed. Someone correct me if im wrong.

?? I dont think I have an issue with my quaife lsd. I had two tegs with a quaife in each and didnt have a problem. But, I only know my experience.

I have an oem lsd tranny and mine pops and vibrates a bit when i am dooing slow speed turns. I just replaced both axles (for a different reason) so I know there is nothing wrong there. I was considering putting in a quaife when i replace the clutch and fly wheel soon.

yea man i think thats a down side of oem lsd cuase my boys eg with jdm b16 came with lsd tranny and it does the same ****.its like a loud *** poping sound.try putting some lsd addive in it will quite it down some.your better off getting a aftermarket one. oh btw try pushing in the clutch when turning that helps out some too.

My quaife doesn't make any noise when I turn I would check the differential preload as it may not have been done correctly. While you are there go over the wheel bearing. If nothing is in bad shape and preload is correct...well then you know where to point the finger....

weird.. get this..

Last night after reading all your posts i figure i would go out and cruise around for a bit..
Knocked at the beginning at low cornering speeds, but then after about a 1/2 hour i heard nothing, this morning i wake up and drive it into work, nothing, ill listen again on the way home.. but it felt so nice!

Thanks for the posts guys, i just wanted to be sure that this wasnt abnormal. Since this is my first LSD
