Last night i installed my 8lb fidanza and exedy stage 2. Almost every time i come off the clutch right at the top b4 u release pedal it vibrates and the car acts just like when u have wheel hop. dash and **** shakes. mainly in 1st. i got a few shifts where it went real smooth but even when i ease off really slow i still feel it a little. Is that just me not used to the stage 2 and its grabbing or is something installed wrong? things were going smooth at the install had a slight problem pushing the tranny back in all the way but it popped in when we guided it with bolts. any input is appreciated.

edit: also forgot 1 the bolts on the tranny mount and had to get it in last which was a pita. could it be my mount not fully tightened?

so does it vibrate like right before it engages?...if so, that's probably clutch chatter. you'll have to learn to drive with it. with the exedy stage 2 (the cerametallic disc) you're gonna get chatter. with that clutch and the fidanza...it's going to be worse.

the only thing you can really do is rev up higher before you start out in first.

i ran exedy stg 2's and never had any chatter. if you are experiencing chatter its for a reason. did you buy your flywheel brand new and if so did you clean ALL the oil off of it and off of the pressure plate also?

 

yeah i cleaned flywheel and pp with brake cleaner b4 install. so i guess i just havta get used 2 it lol interesting.

friend of mine is saying it could be a warped flywheel? it was all brand new parts does fidanza sometimes have some bad ones?
