well i was going around shop to shop looking for a place to get partz, familiarize myself with the workers and owners to get good deals for future installations. i visited some and they wanted to over charge me for installing a strut bar which i can obviously do myself. ridiculous prices abt 40dollar installation for a front strut bar.. so yeah. i was wondering if anyone knew any good places around LA.. that i can go to, to fix my car

 

40 dollars is an average minimum charge a shop could charge to keep themselves afloat. Usually hourly base is 65 for LA area, but jobs that are under the amount of an hour are usually charged depending on how well the shop is doing that month, and weither its a returning customer or just a first timer. Dont forget it cost money for the tools, the electricity, the rent space just to do that 10 min. job.
