After changing plugs, wires, cap and rotor due to check engine light, generic misfire code, today the engine seemed to misfire again, the light came on and when I checked the code it came back Crankshaft Position Sensor not functioning. I attempted to start the car to go home and it ran smooth as silk, no problem as if this was a short in the connection. I would appreciate any suggestions as I want to take into account everything that could be causing this problem. I could not find a diagram to indicate the location of the sensor to check if there was a problem with the connection. If anyone knows of a resource that would help me diagnose this issue I would be grateful.
