Dual point to multi-point swap

Default Dual point to multi-point swap

My 1989 civic will not rev past 3,250 after the multi-point swap it acts like its going into fuel cut (rev limiter) does any body have any suggestions

i did this swap a long time ago. i also had the same problem as you. Did you double check everything to make sure you had all the wires in the same spot? I found out that i mixed the 2 blue wires and the 2 white ones at the dizzy around .

how many check engine lights do you have.

If your light is on and you haven't checked it, don't reply with "It's on but I don't know what they are"

If it's not on, then it's harder to diagnose.

If it is on, find out what code(s) it's throwing and get back to us.

You sure you have the right connector hooked the the IAT?

The IAT and EACV are interchangeable I think. (It's either that or IAT and TPS...I had mine mixed up when I converted to MPFI.) Meaning they'll both plug into each other...try swapping them and check for codes again.

Its the IAT and the IACV that can be switched.

I believe i have the right one plugged in the IAC valve connecter is green and the IAT connecter is white
