Default Need your Advice on Radiator Leak.

So a little background. Im from Socal, but I got a job here in Phoenix, AZ. and Its HOT as a ***** here, My Radiator fluid is always lows, I dont necessarily leak radiator fluid on the ground. But I think that I have a crack on the top of my radiator so I think in this 100+ degree weather (24 hours a day) that the fluid is just evaporating through the crack, thus no leaks on the ground ever. Anyways this is the leak.

I am thinking of cleaning it and putting some JB weld on there to fix it. I basically made this post to see if any of you have had experience with doing something like this and it totally backfiring on you. Really I just want certification that this would be okay to do. Just checking all my bases you know?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Engine overhaul due to heat damage = more $$$$ than the radiator.

your core is leaking by the endtanks. jb weld will never hold it. if it does it will only be a short amount of time.

Put some Barsleak in that bitch! No, but seriously, you should be able to find a new radiator for around a hundred bucks. You should definitely attempt to throw a new one in.

It looks like there's a hole in the upper tank right where the gap in the bracket is. You have nothing to lose by JB welding it and keeping an eye on the temps. If it works it works, and if it doesn't you have to buy a new radiator.

I have a 95 GSR manual radiator in my garage right now. No use for it. Make me an offer.
