Since most of the people that I talk to alot are in this forum, it feels kinda like home in here..

You may have noticed that I haven't been posting much over the past week...

As some of you know, my wife was pregneant... On Tuesday night, her water broke, and on Wednesday morning at 9:35am, we welcomed Rory Elizabeth to the world!

It's pretty damn amazing being a father... I was pretty bummed for a while that the 3 ultrasounds showed that we were having a girl, but as soon as I saw her little face, I was wrapped right around those tiny fingers...

It's been almost 11 years since I made a baby. I was thinking about trying to make a girl this time.

Congratulations again...and welcome to fatherhood....you thought your patience was tested here on HT...HA i say...wait till she turns 16 and she's hounding you day in and day out for a new BMW...because she thinks it's a "cute" car

It's funny that you mention a car, because I was just talking to my wife a couple of days ago about how cool it would be to buy a shell in a couple of years, and puttering away on it until she's sixteen...

Would be cool to give her a boosted, K-swapped hatchy when she turns 16 to beat up on all the boys who think they're all that with their first cars...

Their is no way that in 16 years you daughter wil LET you buy her a car that old LOL.

 

Well congrats pop, I have 2 sons myself, kind of missed not having a girl.

By the time she is 16 we will be out of oil, and I wold not be surprised if the only place you can see an internal combustion engine will be in a museum.

enjoy her as much as you can man....spend every waking moment with her talking and playing ...she'll appreciate it.

 

I miss her tons!! I'm back to work today, and I'm wicked bummed...

I think I've watched "Idiocracy" too many times to have any REAL hope for the future of Mankind and it's direction... Too many dumfux makin babies...
