Some asswipe broke into my car today when I was out having lunch up in San Francisco visiting some friends up there. Good thing a guy living in the nearby apartments scared him off before he was able to make off with the DVDs and computer in my trunk and my stereo. All he got were a handfull of CDs, but still, I'm out a passenger window and there's scratches all over the door. To make this even worse, I was in Nor Cal at the time, so I had to drive down the 5 freeway 7 hours with no window! The guy had ***** though, he did this all in broad daylight and on a busy street.

Damn Thieves!!!

Anyone know how much a replacement window usually costs?

Dang y0! It never ends...

 

Hell yeah...I'm sick of hearing about thieves and now experiencing it. I swear, if I saw this happen in person I would have not left the guy concious and or near living.

I'm glad an all that nothing else was taken nor my car totally taken, but ****, when someone violates a piece of property you put your hard earned money into, you can't help but feel pissed to no end.

I've done that. I would expect a new window (non-honda) to be around $150. Give or take a few. Shop around at those auto glass repair shops. I know there's a few around OC.

 

Near Van Ness. Not too far from Academy of Art and the City Hall. I dunno, after this I'm not taking my car into SF ever again.

i WILL NOT drive my civic into san francisco. Not only are the roads bad but I've heard of way too many people having problems up there.

I paid $350 for the local dealership to replace my passenger window (and clean up the broken glass)... TWICE.. $0-deductible comprehensive
