anyone ever use one of these units, or seen them in person? wonder if its worth buying, or just go aftermarket.

your willing to spend 900+ for a monitor with nav? If anything, get a pioneer D3 and call it a day. Thats way to much money to have a non american navigation. You would also need to get a seperate DVD player = whack.

thats what im thinking, looks like its got language select but looks really generic, i got avic n1 but screen when opened blocks a/c vents, looking at d3

However an Alpine IVA-205 MSRP is $1000 US... http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...-W205 you can probably buy and have one installed at an authorized Alpine retail dealer for a grand, and get 1 year manufacturers warranty and a lifetime warranty on the install. 94
