last night i accidently left my car unlocked in a parking lot when i came back the door was about 8 inches oped and the dome light was on. the most that i was away from the car was 1 hour. nothing was stolen, but it would not turn over so i tried to jump it anyways and still nothing. i was going to try to pop start it but i got in and tried it one more time to see if it would work and it did. so i was wondering is there like a saftey thing that if the doors been open for a certain amount of time will it not start? has thisd happend to anyone else

 

It's not a security or safety feature.

If anything, the battery was already low and the dome light being on all that time sapped the battery.
