Default Need Some help launching with my new ITR Tranny

Well I finally got the chance last night to take my car out and try launching it. I started at 4k and worked my way up. At about 4500 I could launch without bogging down but it would spin pretty bad and when I went to shift it would bog down. If I launch any lower then that then ill just bog down. Any suggestions?

What's your set up?

If you are turbo try bouncing the rev limiter a couple times in 1st before shifting to 2nd.

its all about tire pressure. on the st you have to run too much pressure.

also dont just dump the clutch. bring it up to right when itsabout to grab then give some gas to your launch rpm and exchange more gas pedal for less clutch

if you're bogging when you shift into second, then it seems to me that you are shifting out of first, and grabbing in second, before you have any speed going. in other words, you need to feather the clutch out so that your speed matches the corresponding rpms, by redline. Otherwise you'll end up hitting second at a low rpm.....and booogggggrrrrrmmmMMMMM.

Why? Just learn how to drive, get some seat time, and dont believe that a stupid bushing, bar, or lsd is an excuse for a bad 60'.
