Whats up guys,


new to the forum....

I just bought a 99 Civic DX. i want it to be my project car. The thing that really ticks me off is it doesnt have power windows or door locks. Is it worth it to switch it over?

I got the car for real cheap if that makes a difference...

 

I also have a b18 in really nice shape. I cant wait to start playing with this car.

 

What did you expect from a DX model.

 

I expected exactly what i got. Thats not the point. The point is i got it really cheap, and i couldnt pass it up. It was a simple question.

 

i'd say converting to power options would be something you could do later on in your build, once you've spent money on things you really want/need.

although i've been wanting to convert my DX hatch to an "EX" hatch with power options

I have a b18 out of my old integra with 88,000 miles on it. I think im gonna play with that for a while also.

 

The conversions themselves are rather simple, they just take time. You'll need the floor harness, and everything else associated with the pw/pl.
