H22A4 TO A H22A PROBLEMS! HELP
hey guys can you please help me out. ive just swaped my h22a4 to a h22a into my bb6 prelude 1997 base model. ive swaped the cranksenor from the h22a4 to the h22a everything worked out nicely. once we put the motor back into the car started it up it took about a good 20 tries to get it on wit the chipd computer i have. ive dun the obd2 to obd1 converstion kit. and once i started to drive home car wont rev past 3500rpm at all!. everything seems to be plugd in and everything looks right but i dont know whats wronge. a test showed with my check engine that the fuel and air messasure or mixture error..by the way the computers are working fine tried it on a gsr and reved all the way past 9000rpm 
please help me out
also ive took my h22a4 parts onto the h22a: alternator and bracket
power steering and bracket
ac compressor and bracket
lower timing cover
complete intake manifold (injectors, fuel rail...etc)
half shaft / intermediate shaft
distributor and coil
but i didnt take the intake manifold from my a4..ive taken the throtal body and injectors fuel rail and ect.

im usen a obd1 computer now thats chiped..but i believe that its the intake manifold since i didnt swap from the h22a4 to the h22a
im not sure ill check 2mrow morning but i dont think its the computer..i believe it could be a sensor.what do you guys think is casusing the 3500max rpm?

are you throwing any codes?

and I take it you used the oil pump from the h22a4? and if thats the case, are you using the h22a wiring harness or the a4 wiring harness?

do u remember what the code number was?

so you are using a chipped obd1 ECU with a n obd2 to obd1 jumper harness, the h22a4 engine harness on the h22a engine, with the h22a4 oil pump, did I gather everything correctly?

sounds like your O2 sensor might be gone or going.

cory everhting ur saying is riight so far. im stil guessing its my udsm intake manifodl that needs to b on my jdm motor except my jdm intake manifold
