should i stick with the stock wheel diameter?
so i've searched and read that for daily driving i should stick with the manufacturers wheel diameter. now i have a 1992 civic dx sedan that was made for 13" wheels but i want good quality 13s but i can't find any wheels that size in name brand manufacturers. should i go up to 15s or does anyone know of any good quality 13" rims?
man you can go with whatever your mind can conj our up. Personally i think a 15" wheel looks really good tucked under an EG8 with a nice drop
dont let the manufacturers suggestions hold you back from that. But its your cake, decorate it as you please.

I think you are slightly confused. When people say you should stick with stock diameter they mean the overall diameter. This is implying that if you increase the size of your wheel get the right size tire that maintains the overall diameter exact. Does that clear things up?

What size tires should I get?
The proper size depends on your car, not just the wheels you are using.
For a CRX, del sol, or pre-'96 Civic, the following sizes are usually best:
13" - 175/70-13
14" - 185/60-14, 195/55-14
15" - 195/50-15
16" - 205/40-16
