Something is running my battery out!

my car was stolen a while ago, and i found that the alarm was draining the battery, so i disconnected the alarm harness plug and the beeping from the alarm stopped... this morning i went to start my car and it wont start, the headlights barely turn on, the electric seatbelt goes really slow... and i notice someting really WEIRD

their is a weird, ticking from the ECU, i opened the kick panel and put my ear to it, and it keeps ticking like a time bomb or clock....

i try unplugging the green plug from the ECU, the ticking stops....

then i plug it back in, then it starts ticking again. I suck with electrical problems!

What could it be??? I need to work tomorrow so I'd like to get this solved tonight.

Should I go buy a new battery and see if i can drive the car around? or should i get help with the ECU ticking noise?
