Okay i need some info on this swap for a friend. I know i need a obd 2 conversion harness to obd 1 , and a obd 1 ecu. And i know how to convert the harness in the lude to use an internal Dizzy. But is it possible to keep ATTS by using the SH tranny on the jdm h22a?

oh yea i will be using an H23 tranny by the way
Are these all the parts i need?
distributor $100
oil pump $150
oil pan and baffle $200
intermediate shaft $50
lower timing cover
complete intake manifold $200
header
PS pump and mount $100
Alt and mount $100
AC comp and mount $200

almost, your gonna need an SH Crank Sensor which is costly, Also An SH Crank Gear, And SH Harmonic Balancer. The balancer and crank gear ar needed because they have little notches in them that the crank sensors that attach to your oil pump read as the two gears spin. this lets them read when your engine hits top dead center if you dont get these two gears with the sensor and use your old ones your motor will start and die after like 2 seconds so be sure to get them. thats all i can think of for now ill let u no if i remember anything else.

Why do you need the SH crank pulley. Those notches i believe have nothing to do with anything but checking your timing but as far as the engine running i dont think it should have any affect on it.
Also is the SH CKP different than the base ? And what is different about the oil pump ?

sure it is, i see clean title 5th gens with that mileage go for 7-8k around here

the sensors are not in the oil pump they bolt on to it and the magnet piece on each sensor point ot the crank gear and harmonic balancer. those two items have notchis in them so those sensors can read them some how, not sure exactly what the notches do but if you dont believe me there was a thread were a guy put everything but the two gears im speaking of and his car would start and die right away then he switched the gears from jdm to SH and it fixed that problem. id say doing this would be worth it.
