mounting air filter on throttle body?
Truthfully the only real downfall to this would be that you are going to be getting a lot of hot air sucked into the engine...the best thing to do would be get some exhaust piping and make you a straight pipe and put it as close to some fresh somewhat cool air as possible. I used the stock intake piping which placed my filter right next to the whole that the stock airbox and the resonator went thru....and I noticed a decent enough difference with that over the stock air setup....but then again I noticed some slight difference with the filter on just the throttle body...so all things considered it ins't a bad idea...but there are some that would be a bit better...but overall no downfalls....
