I just swapped out my hf engine for a b16. The sub harness has 4 connections that plug into the ecu. I spliced them for now, but i will either get but connectors to connect them or acutally pull out the old pins on the ecu plugs and put in the wires directly into the plugs. Is there a way to pull out the wires on the plugs that go into the ecu without the tool or do i needone. Also i am comming up with error code 22. Variable valve timing. If it is not the connections to the ecu what else could it be.....

I don't know about the code, but I used a paperclip to remove the ecu pins out...it worked well except for 2 pins that wouldn't budge...I ended up ordering the pin tool from Hasport and it did the job...
