I have a friend who will not listen.... Please HELP!!!
I need some assistance out there. I have a friend who previously built an LS/vtec bored to 2.1 with 13.5 comp pistons, flat faced valves, s2 pro 2 cams, extreme port an polish, and of course rods, bolts, v springs, etc.... He had a shitty tune done on the car the day the motor was started. The car came from the dyno smelling like gas, and his valves punched there way through the pistons that night. (All this occurred before I knew this guy)
Now I am trying to prevent this from happening a second time, but he just will not listen. He has currently built the same setup except this time running 14.1 comp pistons along with flat valves. He thinks he can run this bomb on pump gas with the same tune from the previous detonation. I appreciate all input on the matter....

You are pushing it with that comp ratio. Not only that but he needs to check clearences first as well between the valves and pistons that also could be an issue.

CRAPPY TUNE - car came back running super rich, STANK like gas and cams sounding like a v8.. you know the sound.
This set up made 199.8 WHP and 149 150 ish ft/lb torque
Engine blew with in 6 hours of getting it back, he broke a valve guild, broke a valve, and the valve punched holes in the piston top and then scattered tiny pieces metal throughout the whole head and put scratches in his cylinder walls.

That is not a shitty tune, that is called mechanical interference.
The best tune in the world will not prevent engine damage when the pistons kiss the valves.

He only made a 199 whp with the old setup?? That sucks. His motor will go to **** again if he tries to run 14:1 on 93 octane. Just let him learn again. 260 whp

Ya damn right....I'm actually going to bet him $200 that the motor doesn't make out of the break in period. He said he's going to drive the car for a 1000 miles for the break in period....not going to happen
