1998 Accord Bulb Replacement
hey y'all just bought a 1998 Accord v6 auto. love it. so far so good. ive replaced the stock headlights and interior lights for 9 LED's but i want to get rid of that **** yellow color for the instrument panel.
my question is simple and the local Honda Shop wont or cant answer it ... betcha y'all can though so here it goes ...
I dont want to do anything other than replace the bulbs in the dash for a whiter bulb ala my former 2005 EX. i like the clean look. anyway, will the same bulbs from a newer model honda work on my 1998?
IF NOT, where can I order some decent aftermarket LED's or bulbs if necessary?
ALSO, are the 2 screws on the top of the cluster the only thing holding the cluster in place? If not, where are the other screws located?
Replaced my plugs with NGK copper (thanks yall for that one too) but which wire sets do y'all like for a V6. need to keep them in the 50 buck range (budgets suck).
IF the wires in that range arent worth the swap, mine are still in good shape, I will hold off till theres more in the budget.
BTW thanks to yalls threads about CAI's i installed one in mine today and noticed an immediate throttle response improvement. dunno bout improved gas mileage, but we will see ....
thanks y'all

I put LED's in my instrument gauges and they look great. Got everything from http://www.ledautomotive.com/ You can also go all out and get every other bulb in the car changes too
If you have a car that they offer kits for on that page then you don't have to think about bulb size. Otherwise you will have to look at the bulb and match it up on the site. As for getting in the cluster my 6th gen has two screws on the top of the gauges that i have to remove before i can take the covering off.
