i was bored so i went to Honda's japanesse web site, and JUST realized they dont make a coupe civic http://www.honda.co.jp/auto/ I duno this just seems weird to me that we only have it in the US!

 

did they ever make one?

when i think about it....i've never ever seen one.

 

No Civic coupe in the land of rising sun. Even as far back as the EG no EJ was produced over there. This has been nothing new.

I stand corrected as I was told differently by friends who live in Japan.

 

I believe that, along with the Accord, they were American and Canadian coupes shipped over to japan in limited numbers. I have special "Honda of America" badging that came on the Accords, waiting for a good car to slap them on.

Yup pretty much.

Parts shipped over from Japan, assembled in USA and Canada and then shipped back to Japan.

There was a Hond of America badge for those cars:

Ohhh treated!!! I love it, trust me they do have EG coupes, I was in tokyo for about 2 months.

 

Japanese importing rare, expensive Accord/civic coupes to there home country, sounds like US fanboys and the type R. Irony I say, irony.
