Default keyless entry

I wonder if anybody out there can help me with a question...
I am purchasing a key to replace a lost one for my 2006 civic lx, as I was placing the order I was asked if I want the 4 button remote or the three (mine came with 3). Does the LX have the actuator or solenoid installed to be activated or is it a part solely for the EX or better.
I hope this isn't a stupid question.

yeah because it's the only way for the EX/SI to open their trunk from the outside. There is no key hole on the trunk...

its not the ONLY way. theres a trunk release next to the gas latch.

and for the OP you need to get another LX/DX key unless you get the relay that pops open your trunk.

Can you buy the relay? I really would like to have a keyless trunk release.
