Default 1997 crv vibration problems

ok, here is the deal. this thing use to have 19" spinners on it(i know, gay right) but it has vibrations everywhere. i replaced the 2 rubber isolaters in the rear that hold the rear to the body. rear vibes are gone. now to the front. this thing only vibrate on acceleration. i replaced all the motor mounts except the one on the tranny(top) both axles replaced . there is no worn out parts or wheel bearings in this vehicle. i am at wits end here and i am starting to think that the trouble is in the transmission. any and all help greaztly appreciated.

A shudder under acceleration usually means something is out of balance in the drivetrain. If you had larger/heavier wheels on the car, they may have put a lot of stress on the axles/rear end/transfer case/etc.

Check the carrier bearing on the main driveshaft that runs from the transmission to the rear end. It's also best to be able to put the car on a lift and have someone drive it while you are under the car inspecting it. If something is out of balance, it's easier to allocate it this way.

Good luck,

AJ
