mine just arrived in the mail from e bay.

my questions is... is there any welding or fabrication needed??? im assuming its straight bolt on but im not sure if the pipe diameter is different from Lx to Si.

quick note...when i got the muffler the guy that shipped it diddnt plug both sides of the muffler, and filled the box with popcorn packaging, so now i have foam popcorn in the muffler itself. would this cause any problems??? im assuming it would just blow out when i put it on.

i would shake it to get every last piece of foam out just to be safe.

but it bolts right on. it uses the same spring loaded bolts that you have on your car right now. with MY install, the springs were not needed

 

already shook it...there is still some in there that wont come out.

im gonna install it soon. i live in a apartment complex so im going to my parents house where all my tools are to do the install.

 

All you need is your j. stand from the trunk and a 12mm rachet. Also a flat tip to get your old gasket off.
