im looking to get into the Honda sport cars or whatever u wanna call them and i was wondering on what a good Honda model for starting off with and also what models are better over others im looking for something with good horse power and torque but don't really wanna build the engine my self so it needs to be still very reliable like a Honda should be thanks guys

92 - 95 civic vx. jk! if u cant afford a s2000 id go with a gsr. u will wet ur pants when u feel vtec (not vtech) for the first time. then buy ebay intake, ebay header (not headers), and ebay exhaust. why buy expensive brand names for IHE when ur gonna get tired of the extra 10 hp in 6 months. once u do get tired of the regular bolt ons, u'll grow some ***** to start tinkering with ur motor for some forced induction. if u search and read and read here on HT.com u will learn alot. honda motors are very easy to work on. u will be intimidated at first but they're piece of cake. im on my 4th build becuase i keep going back and forth from NA to turbo and back. good luck.

 

Honda makes sports cars?

 

im used to working on air cooled Volkswagen motors which are like the simplest in the world haha and if i do buy a car like that with many engine mods and what not will it still pass smog???
and what about hatchbacks there kinda kool like i said completely new to Honda's haha

any way whats the price range of a used s2000 probably out of my 4000 to 7000 range and can i get a nice honda for that???

also is there a thread like a intro to Honda's and gives a brief description over models and motors etc etc

i cant find any used s2000 for under 20 grand yet so thats definitely out of ur range. u can get good integras for what u got. or if i was in ur shoes i would buy a civic ex of any year so u have like 2-3 grand left to spend on all kinds of goodies. as far as "intro to hondas" just read thru the integra forum, civic forum, tech forum, and any other forums u may be interested in. lots of good info here but also lots of crap too. never go tinker wth ur motor with one persons' advice. try to get at least 3 opnions or advices before u take their word. also when taking advice, look at when they signed up on ht.com and how many posts they have under their belt. its not always a good indication but the longer and more posts they have they are either knowledgeable in hondas or just has lots of questions. anyway try to searh any questions u may have before u ask in any forum bcuz chances are, they have been asked at least 100 times.

well - if you were on a budget and could find one - get yourself a nice GSR Integra
1992-1993, or 1994-2001. lots of years to choose from, lots of mods possible and
a fun driving car to boot. a clean integra in the 96-01 range might even have
leather interior, clean - good AC and some decent acceleration too. depends on
what you want. I wonder if you can sense my bias - but you can trust me on this:

Don't use torque and Honda in the same sentence
You can find a decent Integra in your price range and they are generally nicer than Civics.

 

well i like the body style of the hatch backs but my problem is thats theres so many models to choose from !!! and i was wondering whats the best model it your opinion and why??? thxs o 1 more thing i have been reading a lot on the sight now and now im wondering what a bump is sorry for the nub qustions

when u make a new thread (post) u are at the top of that forum. but when others make new threads urs keep going down and eventually ur questions dont get answered becuz no body really reads the second pages of the firum (i dont). so if u have a good question that u keep wanting more people see and answer they re-post ito their on thread with a "bump" or "ttt" (to the top) or what ever. also if u ask how to install a duo exhaust on ur 1.5 liter civic u will get what w call "flamed". basicly u have asked the stupidest question in the world and we "flame" u with nasty comments. oh and please dont bring up "fast and the furious". we try not to be affiliated with that movie in any way.
