I'm getting ready to by my soumy helmet(gambler verson this weekend online) and I was wondering is there a huge difference in fitments cause I'm a ,medium in every helmet...arai shoei...etc.... and I'm gonna order a medium in soumy its jus tht I heard the fitment is not good for certain people...wht should I do...and I dnt no any shops around my area tht see soumys for me to try on...jus wanna knw if the fitment is really off or no
I feel that the Spec1r and RX7 corsair fit the same (to me). I wear small in both but I can't fit a small Shoei RF1000 or Arai Quantum.

I know your q is regarding Suomy helmets, but I will offer this tidbit about Arai anyways. Arai makes 3 different "interior shapes." Round oval, intermediate oval and long oval. Once you have determined the best interior shape for your head any "authorized" Arai dealer is then supposed to fit the internals of the helmet to your head. Cheekpads, crown. etc come in different sizes/thicknesses because, well not everyones head is the same shape. I had my Arai fit by Robert at The Service Pavillion and he learned me on proper helmet fit guidelines, resulting in the most comfortable/best fitting/ safest helmet Ive owned yet.
Reason I say all this is to give a little insight as to why:

Its not a good idea to pick a helmet based on the graphics only. Fit is the most important.

it's weird, cause an arai rx-7 medium fits me a little loose. and a shoei x 11 medium fits me really tight.
your saying your a medium in both arai and shoei when i've had a different experience. i would go to a shop to try the same model on in the right size before spending that kinda money on a helmet...
