okay i am gettin a 2000 ek black 5 spd and i think its an LX so that comes with a SOHC non-vtec but what should i do with it its completely stock and has 42,000 miles on it do i build off of it or do i swap out the engine? but if ne ones interested in it ill trade or sell it to you jus make an offer thnks for your time

You should read. You have a LOT of learning to do. There are SO many things you can do to you car, no one can give you an answer that is well suited to you.

btw, you have an ej, not an ek. Many people find comfort in calling their car's by the japanese chassis codes, no Ek's were ever produced for the states.
