so i have a 99 base and i'm looking to buy the motor from a 97 base to replace mine. i relize everything should fit just fine but i was curious are there any diffrences between the two? i know that hp went up 5hp in 99, was that from just better tuneing or diffrences in parts? the motor is just a long block so all of my external parts will remain the same, but i was still curiouse why the diffrence in hp rateings.
