Pretty cool if I do say so my self. The gigantic radiator ducts don't look that great, but overall I really like the bike. Lots of sweet features and most importantly no H-D engine! DOHC Rotax engine

I think Eric Buell refuses to build an attractive faired bike

*waiting for the ceas comment that fairings are inherently unattractive

I've always liked Buell styling, personally.

I'll definitely have to check this out

Yeah, I just read about the rumors that Buells might be Rotax powered in the near future.

All fairings are inherently unattractive.

I've liked his ideas on the chassis and apparently they handle great. The motors so far have sucked. I'd prefer an option for a chain drive from the factory too.

i was reading in one of the rags yesterday that they will more than likely have to swich to chain drive because of the rotrax producing around 120hp

I wouldn't be surprised to see a chain drive on it. I would attribute it to popular demand, though, not power output. Do you really believe that they could make a belt which would support 80 horsepower but not produce one that could support 120?

From a lot of Buell forums I've visited, most people that started making some decent horsepower out of the HD V-Twins needed to switch to an aftermarket chain drive because the belts would keep failing.

Well, tehy were designed for 80hp bikes... they'd need a redesign, but I'm sure they could do it if they wanted to keep it on their s00par aw3s0me feature list.

This is true. I'm actually looking forward to the direction Buell is headed, it'll be interesting to see what happens. They've always had some pretty radical and ingenious designs/ideas

It would probably have to be ridiculously wide, like the ones on the high dollar custom choppers with the big inch motors.

why? A normal size belt that they've been using will hold that power no problem. I just would rather have a chain
