Default I need assistance on ordering an OEM grill insert for civic sedan.

I want to order an OEM Honda grill insert. I want to order one that has a lower portion just like the one found on my 2007 Si Sedan, but without the mounting post. From which model do I order for?

FYi: I'm not cutting, grinding or modifying my stock unit in the case that I want to return the car to stock.

You want the gray part that does not have the Si mount post right? So order an EX grille? You will get the ugly silver/chrome part too but you can take that off and mount up your stock color grille to the part you are referring to.

The EX doesnt have any lower portion. I think what I am going to have to do is buy an additional Si lower unit and take it to a bodyshop to modify and paint it rally red. I really wish someone would make a quality aftermarket grill insert like those found on the 99-00 Civic Si.

Looks like a dremel, bondo, and paint to get you there

I'd love too, but I don't own a dremel and with the way I am I'd want to buy the top model dremel and it would never be used. I have never used bondo, or automotive paint. So like I said I'll just take to a body shop.
