Default DRL module removal.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums but I've been reviewing some of the extremely useful threads in the past few days. I'm sure this is one of the most common thing is most Hondas..The dreaded DRL malfunction. I get the DRL displayed on my dash board and my daytimes don't work anymore. I just wanted to know how you go about removing the DRL module from my ex coupe under the steering wheel above the gas pedal, it looks a bit more confusing than the older honda models. I heard the most common defect are old soldered joints that go over time and resoldering them will do the trick. Thanks in advance guys.
