I noticed that the fuel guage on my 90 CRX stays in the middle when I shut it off, and I seen it on my friends car too. Is this normal or does it mean its not working? cuz usually when you turn off a car all the guages will go down. any thoughts?

 

My gas gauge always stays where it is when the car is shut off.
