Right now on my 17X7 Rays, i have Falken Ziex tires that are 205/45/17 and appears that they are stretched a little and i could go with a bigger tire. can i put a 225/45/17 tire on the rims? thanks.

You might be able to mount the tire on the rims, but that doesn't mean it's the best size for your car.
Most 225/45-17 tires are approved for mounting on rims 7.0-8.5 inches wide. At the low end of that range, they will appear to be bulging.
What kind of Accord do you have - year? coupe/sedan/wagon? EX/LX/etc? 4 cyl or V6?
Oh, and the Ziex is not very good. If you really need all-seasons, try the Kumho ASX; for about the same money, it's much better in every way.

i bet that they have an offset over +40mm.
anyways. on a 7 inch wide tire i would highly suggest 215's. 225 might look a little too meaty. and like you already stated 205 looks like its stretched

That's too big for your car and will probably rub. Get 205/45-17. If you have to get the Azenis, 205/45-17 isn't available; you can try 215/45-17, which might rub slightly, but not as bad as the 225/45-17.

If you're really looking for performance, get the Bridgestone RE-01R in 205/45-17. It will give you car the best performance, best "stick to the road". And it won't make your car accelerate slower like those oversized sizes will.

Not true. Not true at all. Most 205/45-17 tires are approved for mounting on rims 6.5-7.5 inches wide. That means they will look stretched on a 17x7.5, and will look bulging on a 17x6.5. But on a 17x7, they will look absolutely perfect.
With 225/45-17, OTOH, they are usually approved for rims 7.0-8.5 inches wide. Which means that on a 17x7, they will look really funny, like they are bulging outwards.
But it sounds like you already have your mind made up, even though it appears that you don't know what you are talking about and don't know much about tires. If you want to get the wrong size tires that won't give you the best performance, be my guest. I just don't understand why you even bothered asking if you're just going to ignore the knowledgeable advice you get in response.
