so my cigarette lighter/power outlet doesn't work i have tried it with the car off, and with the car on and everything in between. So i then checked to see if it was on a fuse, or if the fuse was blown and i found that it was on the same fuse as my interior lights and radio and they work so i know it is not the fuse. So my question to you is what the hell can it be?? i do have a aftermarket faceplate for my stereo but that is the only electrical modification that i have on the car. what could it be? thanks for any help or pointers!

 

The radio, interior lights, and accessory outlet have different fuses. Check the fuse box diagram a little more carefully and you should be able to find it. If you find the fuse is good, put a test light into the socket. If it doesn't light up, make sure the outlet isn't unplugged (I have seen this happen before). If it is plugged in, go get yourself a new outlet.
