That code (EVAP system leak - gas tank) can be caused by a loose gas cap. Tighten it & wait to see.
There's a handful of other things to cause it, but they're less likely. They all boil down to your gas tank isn't airtight like it should be.
If it's a loose gas cap, it'll take several driving cycles before it clears itself.
