I am on your side. I have an auto LX sedan. I have a running parts car that is a 5 speed, that I am going to swap all the parts from. It is scary to thing about, but atleast I have all the items in one place, and no searching the junkyards for parts here and there.

PS nearest mod....can I have my old SN back?? email me at: iheartmyefsedan@hotmail.com

What if that is all he can afford??

Just keep it, make it decent and then down the road, sell it for a profit. Or you can make it Fashion>Function.

Do as you want bro, it is your car.

MPFI swap and an auto to manual swap. That should keep you happy for a while.

you'll need rear tranny mount, clutch cable, pedals, transmission, i'm probably forgetting some stuff, theres a FAQ up top you can search through though.

dont waste time witha d series auto to manual swap ....trust me. Just save straight up fora swap while doing nothing to your current setup. Do mpfi If you do anything b.c you will have to do that if you swap and its WELLLL WORTH IT.

<--- speaks from experience

If you are really up to it, and have all the parts, i would do the 5 speed swap. Its no harder than replacing a clutch
