Default bolt stretch guage

I'm looking for a rod bolt stretch guage for when i put my engine back together but have no clue about measuring equipment as this is my first build and i've never needed any of it before. I've seen a few on ebay for Chevy's but they look qute big and not sure wether they will fit in the botom end once everything is back together.

Not looking to break the bank but would rather spend a little more for a qualityt item. Have you got any recomendations or manufacturers to stay away from?
